Capturing the Class of 2026: A Senior Portrait Session on Ice

When a Class of 2026 senior from Sandusky told us he wanted his Senior Portraits at the local hockey rink in Sandusky, we were all in. Hockey is his world—late-night practices, weekend tournaments, and the roar of the Hockey Loving crowd—so it only made sense to bring the Envisions Photography Studio experience right onto the ice where his story has unfolded.

We kicked things off with him looking sharp in a tailored gray suit, stick in hand, gliding across the fresh ice. The contrast of formal wear against the rink’s crisp white surface created stunning, timeless Senior Portraits that showcase the young man he’s becoming while still nodding to the player he is today. The overhead lights, the boards, the glass—every detail screamed “Sandusky hockey” and gave his images that authentic Thumb-of-Michigan feel.

Then we turned up the intensity. Full player gear: jersey, breezers, skates, gloves, helmet, and his game stick. He flew through drills, took shots on net, and celebrated like he just buried the game-winner. These action-filled Senior Portraits capture every ounce of his speed, power, and love for the game that’s defined his high school years.

From suited sophistication to full hockey warrior mode, this session perfectly bottled up who he is as he closes out his senior season with the Class of 2026.
